Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow

It snowed this morning for the first time this winter. Okay, for most of you snow isn't that big a deal--but this is Georgia, where one snowfall per year is the norm. I'd post pictures of the snow, but... well, there's really nothing to photograph. The precipitation started off as sleet, then turned to rain for a brief time before coalescing into wet, sludgy, quarter-sized clumps of snow I refer to as "nature's snowballs." They were doomed to a short lifespan, though, since the temperature never dropped below 35° this morning; the minute they hit any surface, they returned to the water from which they were born.

Not much of a snowfall to celebrate, but we take what we can get.
